Plant Based Beef Skewers

Well the summer days are certainly over, but that doesn’t mean we don’t crave those summer bbq dinners! We absolutely love this recipe, it’s not only easy to make and super delicious, it’s a great way to use up any veggies in the fridge. These vegan friendly skewers made with Plant Nation Tomato & Cracked Pepper Beef Style Sausages will be your new ‘go-to’ bbq meal.

What You Will Need:

Plant Nation Tomato & Cracked Pepper Beef Style Sausages
Zucchini
Red Capsicum
Green Capsicum
Mushrooms
Red Onion
Pineapple
Chilli Flakes
Paprika
Rosemary
Thyme
Salt & Pepper
Olive Oil

What You Need To Do:

Firstly, if you are using wooden skewers, to stop them splintering and burning on the bbq, soak them in water while you are preparing the ingredients. Slice each sausage into 3 even pieces and set aside. Chop all of the vegetables into chunky pieces and place in a large bowl. There is always one ‘anti-pineapple’… so chop and keep in a separate bowl (if you need to). Add a drizzle of olive oil and all the spices, salt and pepper into the veggie bowl then stir until evenly coated. Assemble the skewers by alternating between the seasoned vegetables, pineapple pieces and the beef sausages. Cook on the bbq at a low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until all the vegetables and sausages are cooked through. Enjoy!
